Isn't this illegal?

I know it isn't right, but isn't it also illegal? Doesn't that count as discrimination? And instead of the same sex couple that was denied, Huckle went to the hetero couple that threw him out with nothing five days later, which led to him going into another foster home for a week (the one that was told he was a 1.5 hispanic boy), before coming to us.

Sounds like discrimination to me.

Sadly, it depends what state you live in. In some states it is legal to discriminate against same-sex couples.

raEvan was fired from the golden arches because he filed an official complaint in response to the kitchen staff using the word "f#g." He was told that filing the complaint showed a lack of "team spirit." We were told by an attorney that does job discrimination that it was not an illegal termnation, although it would have been in The City.

They also could have fired him for being gay, and said so, and it would have been legal. Here.

Having been on the receiving end of discrimination based on our relationship, it is still shocking to see that in writing. We were turned down because we were a gay couple, although it wasn't officially the reason.

I am still amazed that there are so many people who would rather see kids bounced than to see them in a gay home.
